Here, in Canada, we have had handgun restrictions
since the 1930s, and are currently in the process
of registering all long guns. To guage the effectiveness of this in keeping weapons from the
criminal/violent segment of society, go to one of
our national papers' websites and see if you can
count the shooting deaths daily, without a sense
of bewilderment.
Remain wary, my American friends, of people who
profess to know what is best for you, and feel
the best way to educate you is by diminishing
your options.
